Satellite Camps
Because Africa is such a diverse land, no single concession can hold a full variety of species. Climate, habitat, elevation and latitude all play a factor. In keeping with the original Tom Miranda bow camp concept, a full compliment of satellite camps are kept at the ready to allow hunters the opportunity to harvest some of the truly unique species available in South Africa. Animals like klipspringer, bushbuck, bush pig, mountain reedbuck, Springbok, golden wildebeest, black impala, plus unique species like crocodile, roan, hippo, lion and leopard on permit.
Satellite camps can be anywhere between 1 to even 5 hours drive from the lodge headquarters.... however as we require species request lists before the hunt, the professional hunters will have all the details lined out in advance. Make no mistake, these hunts are not easy or slam dunks.... but our staff will be working overtime to insure bowhunting opportunities.
